Brandon came to visit Cincinnati State Technical and Community College last semester (Fall 2021) to speak to the Career Preparation: Multimedia Information Design class that I teach, and inspired the entire room with his energy, ingenuity and insight. His style of leadership for the class discussion was thought-provoking, authentic and very engaging. Right away he asked for feedback from the students about what they hoped to learn from him, and tailored the conversation to all that they expressed curiosity in. He shared visuals, encouraged note taking while writing notes himself on the whiteboard (Brandon's simple yet profound nuggets of wisdom), and reiterated key points for the students to takeaway. He even offered to meet with students one-on-one for coffee, and one of the students in the class that took him up on the offer later told me that it was a truly inspiring and empowering conversation. Brandon speaks about his career journey and his passions with such realness, vulnerability and humble enthusiasm. He has accomplished much to be proud of, yet he doesn't emanate a big ego, and he's remarkably approachable and willing to share his struggle stories and lessons learned. He shared with me that he's motivated now more than ever to help the new wave of ambition navigate their own career journeys with confidence and resilience. He is someone who genuinely cares about people, even after just meeting them for the first time. As an industry visitor for my class, he gave students the kind of realistic and unembellished insight they'll need to be successful as they enter their careers in the multimedia industry. I would be delighted to work with Brandon again in the future, and highly recommend him for public speaking, collegiate classroom instruction, career coaching, etc.!

Brandon and I have been acquainted for 25 years, worked together for two years, and have collaborated on an assortment of projects. Brandon ignites passion and purpose, energizes and entertains, and provokes curiosity in everyone he encounters. I’ve seen him change peoples’ lives in working with industry creatives, co-workers, and students. Brandon's ability to connect with students, sit with them in their current reality, and challenge them to think for themselves is incredible. When Brandon is passionate, he has a way that gives courage to others around him to be passionate as well. He believes in people more than they believe in themselves. This is the foundation of teaching. All learning and growth come from there.
