  Performing foot patrols in the downtown core of the city of Hamilton, where I enforce parking violations which vary from paid parking to safety violations. I am also responsible for providing assistance to members of the public when needed; such as providing directions, understanding the parking bylaws, facilitating first aid in emergency situations, and assisting law enforcement when needed. Acting Corporal: Provide supervision for the unit in the absence of the sergeant or chief warrant officer and on weekend shifts, and facilitate the training of new officers in the various bylaws and foot patrol areas that the job consists of and how to manage interacting with members of the public. Joint Health and Safety Committee: Member of the Health and Safety Committee that meets quarterly to discuss health and safety concerns in the workplace, while representing fellow employees in the company, in open discussion to address and resolve any new and ongoing issues to improve the workplace.
