At Market Equipment I was in charge of the company's engineering for all electrical and mechanical refrigeration projects throughout the greater Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah areas. I also worked as the sales lead for new projects, and enjoy working with new and existing customers to help them develop refrigeration designs and supporting the construction team in the field from project inception to completion. Engineering

While working under contract with Novelis, I was charged with creating a report on the protective capabilities of different fabrics that were to be used during casting operations. During testing, I measured the change of temperature of the thermocouples due to the flow of molten aluminum over the fabric. From this I was able to determine the total energy change that a person wearing such fabric would experience, and in turn if this would produce a health concern. The report was circulated throughout the company, and I made presentations to the head of research and development as well as the CEO. I also participated in material testing (such as the determining the porosity of graphite), aluminum alloying, tool design, and provided casting support. Show less
