  My most rewarding position I have ever had the opportunity to hold. Community Dental Foundation provided me an opportunity I will never forget. As a Patient Care Coordinator I was tasked with finding patients , coordination with parents, insurance co, Dr and Our Dental Team. I Traveled the state of Arizona going to the most poorest neighborhoods and refugee communities to engage with parents and their children. Each Family I met gave me an opportunity make a new relationship and eliminate two barriers for the family (1)dental treatment access (2)financial resources for dental services. My duties involved going door to door inquiring with parents of children age 2-18, Provide a in detail the value of our no cost services, assisting and collecting legal documentation, and booking appointments. During my 2 years at Community Dental I had the opportunity to sign up and meet 2000 children and their parents who collectively was provided over $500,000.00 worth of dental care at no cost to them. website www.cdental.org Show less
