Bio
David Eaves
Brandon was one of the first hires we made at ReCollect and that remains one of the best early decisions we made. In addition to being thoughtful and effective as a software engineer Brandon emerged as leader in the company by garnering respect from everyone from across the organization for both his work product and his strong sense of equity, justice and inclusion. And now, as a director he's grown into an effective leader. Specifically, he's able to articulate the interests of the development team while engaging and working with other leaders when interests or goals conflict. He has been a steady voice on the executive team - which is exactly what you want from a director of development.
Alan Mäkinen
Shortly after I was hired by the Wedge Community Co-op, I was assigned a major project that involved reorganizing and revamping what had become, through inattention, a disordered 4000-count set of item codes. Brandon provided essential IT assistance to me in the successful completion of this project, designing a GUI specifically for me that gave me visual means to comprehend and track the data I was working with. He also helped me understand how other components of the co-op's IT system worked in relation to the one I was responsible for. Working on this project with Brandon, I quickly came to appreciate his patience, intellectual engagement, attentiveness to identifying problems, and determination to create solutions.
