  In an office of only four people, my primary responsibility is to keep our CEO and Operations Manager organized and informed about our 9 after school programs, 8 summer school programs, and our revenue generating Supplemental Educations Services program in several northern California school districts. Additionally, I link our onsite employees, office management staff, English and Spanish speaking community members, and school and school district staff. I am a metaphorical Swiss-army knife accessorized with excellent organizational skills and natural people skills which allow for consistently met deadlines in addition to fluid daily operation. Before being promoted to an Office Assistant, I worked as the lead instructional Aide on a crew of six while we ran the daily operations of an after-school program for middle school students.   During my multi-year internship at the Neighborhood Services Division I began as a clerical aid and gradually transitioned into a Staff Assistant leading and developing various Sacramento City events including: City of Sacramento’s Earth Day Celebration in April 2011, the 2012 Sacramento Youth Commission, the 2012 Mayor’s Summer Reading Camp, and the 2012 Summer at City Hall. In all of the above projects my primary role was to lead a crew of young people or staff members while we worked community service projects. Above all, I learned and developed basic office clerical skills in addition to event planning, coordinating programs, leadership, loyalty, professionalism, time management and the importance of working hard to meet deadlines.
