In this role, I work to impact and change the life path of individuals struggling in poverty through offerings in the realm of Early Childhood Services, including Head Start and Early Head Start; Housing Services, with over 300 subsidized housing units for eligible low-income residents; Transporation Services for medically frail and at need populations; Employment Services to assist constituents in gaining job skills to improve employment opportunities and self-sufficiency; and an array of Social Support Services, geared to impact young families in the child welfare system, senior citizens, men in recovery, and direct safety-net provisions including utility and food assistance to meet daily living needs. Most recently, we developed targeted health care services for the homeless and transient population of the area by incorporating the Audubon Area Community Care Clinic, Inc., an HRSA funded 330 Federally Qualified Public Health Center, located in Owensboro, Kentucky. Oversee and administer project planning and coordination with the CEO and the Audubon Area Community Services Board of Directors, agency-wide projects, activities, and processes to support strategic services to empower the low-income.
