Business Ethics and Social Responsibility (MGMT 3880) provides an understanding of the strategic purposes of the firm from both an economic and a social perspective. Topics for the course include ethics in business and ethical decision-making, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder management. In this course we examine the organization’s relationship to various stakeholders including shareholders, government and the political environment, employees, consumers, the supply chain, the community, and the environment. Further, the course explores issues related to marketing and consumerism, technology and privacy, and corporate governance. Organizational Behavior (MGMT 3720) explores individual behavior in formal organizations. Management Concepts is a course designed around exploring management philosophy, entrepreneurial processes, organizational structure and design, and organizational performance.
