I directed field crews with up to 3 personal to perform various survey projects that included but were not limited to Boundary, Topo, Construction, and Design many of which were contracts for the city of Ft. Worth. Some of these jobs were for beautification of the downtown (road) area. I also participated in high level security projects such as the D.E.A building and also the D.F.W airport. At both of these projects only I and one other person (instrument man) was able to obtain and given access after a very extensive background check and drug test was completed. It was my responsibility to ensured that all projects were done in an accurate and sufficient time. I maintained all job, expense, and mileage logs all were filled out daily. Before starting each project I would review the documents to ensure that all information that would be needed to complete the job was obtained. When I was confident I had received all the information an materials I would gather my crew an head to the job site. At arrival I would give the crew instruction to start preparing the survey equipment and supplies we would need. While that was taken place I would read all the legal documents a calculate the site an create a drawing. When we were prepared I would lead my crew to conduct the survey once that all the points that were needed were set and I would check my work to ensure that it was without error. Upon complete I assisted and directed the crew in gathering all equipment and any material not used. I would have the crew complete a check list that I myself looked over before leaving a job. I returned to the office were I had the crew clean the company truck, unload the equipment and replace any materials that was needed. While that was being done I would download all of the data I had collected to the computer, and turn in my documented field note of the job. Show less
