  As the Academic Assistant, my main responsibilities include, providing administrative assistance to the Head of High School, Middle School, Lower School, and Educational Services team. In addition to school-wide support, I also coordinate and manage events such as Parent-Teacher Conferences, Picture Day, and special events such as Grandparents’ Day. I provide assistance to teachers in the creation and preparation of instructional materials for classroom use and distribution. I am responsible for maintaining and updating student records. I support communications, through the creation of electronic mailings that our distributed to students, parents, and the community at large. I have recently expanded my role by supporting the Development Office. I process gifts into Raiser Edge and provide gift acknowledgement letters. I also enjoy serving on our Human Resource Committee, Marketing Committee, Alumni Committee, Event Committee, and Development Committee, as well. While my role at Baltimore Lab School is varied, I maintain my commitment to our students, families, and community we serve above all. Show less
