As part of the State of Ohio's College Apprenticeship Consortium Project, Edison State Community College can provide a simplified college-based point of entry process for employers to engage in registered apprenticeship programs. If you are a company looking for a continuous way to grow your skilled workforce, please send me an email, and I would be happy to discuss the initiative. bolberding@edisonohio.edu As part of the State of Ohio's College Apprenticeship Consortium Project, Edison State Community College can provide a simplified college-based point of entry process for employers to engage in registered apprenticeship programs. While serving the youth of Darke County, I will introduce employment and education opportunities for them. This will allow me to connect them to employers and educators in the area, or simply let them learn about what it is that Darke County does in terms of manufacturing, health care, agriculture, education, etc. My goal is for the youth is to be as informed as possible-to allow them to gain the skills they need to integrate into the workforce upon graduation. Employment First is the philosophy that everyone has potential and can contribute to society. Show less
