I was given the pleasure of attending The Illinois Institute of Art with Brandi and was able to work side by side with her in many courses throughout our educational career. She is an exceptional young woman both personally and professionally. I saw Brandi strive for excellence and work diligently throughout her time at IIATP. Brandi has strengths in marketing, visual merchandising, event planning, and business management to name a few. She works hard at everything she does and doesn't settle for mediocre. She was an incredible student and I feel that this has prepared her to become an even better employee.

I had the pleasure of having Brandi as an intern this summer. Through out her time at Pink Slip, she proved to be smart, organized, and extremely well at communicating her ideas both written and verbally. Always professional, Brandi was open and willing to learn and she knew best when to contribute and offer ideas to her team. I would recommend Brandi to anyone who is looking for someone that can execute ideas and plans based on bottom line goals.

As a Christian mindset + identity coach, I worked with faith-filled women struggling with self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviors. I helped them to discover Christ and themselves in new and transformational ways that allow them to walk audaciously into their God-given destinies. Executed successful planning and allocation strategy that aided in taking the Ladies Swim business from 28.4% margin in FY 2014 to 38.9% margin in FY 2015, in turn making it a profitable business for the company and saving it from elimination.Took the initiative to co-create a monthly newsletter for the merchandising team (i.e. CEO, divisional merchandise managers, buyers, planners and allocation analysts) that focused on current trends and events in pop culture that have a key influence in the urban community to give insight into how these trends may translate to the Citi Trends customer.Worked as a member of the department's new store team to build store plans by division and monitor the progress of allocations to new, expansion, mega, relocation and restoration stores.Analyzed and made suggestions for the $24 million Lingerie/Basics business in order to determine the appropriate shipping strategy thus improving the results in sales, turn and gross margin. Worked with Planning Manager to create and maintain seasonal and zonal ladder plans and Buyer to ensure that on order and next season buys were in line with planned receipts and open-to-buy.
