Supervises family care staff in the delivery of services aims at helping families in crisis reach an acceptable level of functioning to keep the family intact. Ensures case management and family preservation services are provided to families with problems of emergency or crisis nature. Monitors and ensures that family care staff, makes all home visits in accordance with the contract terms. Assist management in the selection process of candidates to be interviewed and participates in the interview process. Evaluates performance and consults with HR when performance issues arise. Review initial assessment prepared by family care staff to determine if program is appropriate for family. Connects family with all identified services within the community, when needed. Ensures that family care staff follows up and obtains information and recommendations from all providers working with the family. Plans and facilitates Family Team Meetings as needed and appropriate. Monitors all documentation for quality and completeness. Monitors child and family progress in the implementation and execution of the preservation plan. Communicates with Clinical Engagement Specialists, Family Care Managers, Case Managers and Family Advocates (as appropriate) on a daily basis as to any changes and/or concerns regarding families. Ensures staff follows program policies and procedures to ensure the protection and safety of children in the care of the program. Monitors case records for families and inputs services provided and assessments into FSFN, when needed. Must be willing to work after hours, weekends and be on call to deal with emergency situations. Acts in the absence of the Executive/Program Director. Assists with the development and ongoing tracking of the program to ensure goals and outcome are being met.
