Using strategic planning and extensive organizational skills, I run reports to conduct proactive and intrusive advising to students in Business, Industry, and Technology (BIT). I also do reactive advising; helping with student needs as they arise, with emphasis on timely feedback and results. I have visited classrooms and High School Counselors. I act as the liaison between the students and any possible resource that they may need within the school system; if I'm not the one who helps them directly, I am the one who tells them who to see/contact. This requires extensive job knowledge of college processes and resources, as I also spread the word about the different programs that we offer and updates to different offices/departments (i.e. TRiO, Prior Learning Assessment, miscellaneous Cohorts, Apprenticeships/Internships, scholarships, Honors Societies, etc.). Duties can involve event/group planning, and independently-mandated project management. Data taken on the Liaison role has proven effectiveness. My job is not only to support students, but also to support the needs of faculty and administration. I am a point of reference to everyone in my division for student and staff updates. I am currently the official point of contact, college-wide, for both Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) and for Associates of Technical Studies (ATS) degrees. For ATS degrees, students come to me with their unique situation and I build them a degree based on the outlines provided by the state of Ohio and by the College. I then also send this document on for the appropriate processing once reviewed and approved by that individual student. I have administered training and presentations for faculty and staff. Presentations done to date include topics of customer service training and implicit bias. I have also presented on Title III at the Northeast Ohio Academic Advising Association (NEOAAC) Show less

I managed the company's global SiteWatch telematics program. Using this satellite software I was able to monitor and set up equipment from a distance; I acted as the sole point person for this system within all branches of Southeastern Equipment. I also ran the general business operations for my branch location in Mansfield which include but are not limited to: delivery and pickup orders (DPOs), company checks (customer's & Southeastern's), petty cash, branch deposits, payroll, inventory, supply budgets, equipment matches (I monitored and maintained two separate programs, NDS and CRM, and made sure that information correlated and was updated frequently and correctly), new equipment orders, equipment invoices, and trucking invoices.
