Over four years of university education, there was not a course or module I had enjoyed more than Marketing Communications and Advertising Management in RSM. It is due to the great content of the module being built around the evidence based principles on persuasive advertising. Having some experience in the field I found the principles to be highly practical and significant for effective communication not only in advertising, but everyday life. Secondly, prof. Van den Bergh places great importance in the quality and understanding of the course material. He easily gets students involved and excited by providing interesting cases, discussions and simply showing passion for the subject and teaching overall. His practical assignments of analysing and creating marketing communications grounded all that I learned and gave me confidence in using it for my later career. Finally, prof.
