•Worked on a team of educators and managed 2 junior educators.•Responsible for updating and implementing new operating policies while the centre adjusted from part time to a full time centre. •Developed a new scheduled, extended my shifts and took on responsibilities of an educator that was laid off halfway through the year. •Our Centre was given a grant of $15,000 and I was chosen to aid my boss with applying. By observing our centre and judging where we could expand and become better. •I was responsible for the behavioural guidance policies, which required scheduling meetings with parents, critically analyzing home and school life, and filing confidential plans.•Striving to make our centre more successful, I was granted access to observe other full time centres and examine their policies. I worked on intergrading successful procedures to our centre and teaching them to our coworkers.
