Beatrix is a high volume restaurant, meeting place, and coffeehouse in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. My five years with Lettuce Entertain You - Beatrix have given me incomparable experience and talents working directly with people. Clear communication, patience, and mindfulness of others are used in my customer experience and put into effect everyday with this job. Working in a diverse team atmosphere making sure continuous support is given to everyone to insure a safe, successful, and enjoyable work place is crucial. The ability to create that atmosphere is not easily done and where many work places fall short. My years of experience with Lettuce Entertain You and Beatrix have made that a strong skill of mine. Special events from productive corporate breakfast meetings to massive full restaurant buy outs to celebrate a wedding. Beatrix has given me the experience to operate in a broad area of special events and ensure a successful and memorable gathering.Beatrix being attached to the Marriott Bonvoy ALoft Hotel has given me exposure into the travel industry as well as the hospitality industry.
