I designed and developed the system to streamline the process of applying for bail bonds. Through a simple GUI users could enter information about themselves and the person the user was paying bond for. From there a Lawyer associated with the organization could setup a time to call and finalize bond payments. I created cloud infrastructure and managed the deployment of the application. I serve as the computer and software engineering intern. My role is to work on projects to help automate tasks in building cameras for perceive to deploy. I also helped develop the client side application building both frontend and backend functionality for multiple apps on the client side application. My current role w/ perceive is to help develop the management of the cloud infrastructure that supports the machine learning network and data gathering network of perceive. I am learning a lot about computer hardware for ML especially computer vision. I am also learning how to utilize python with cloud computing for a robust and scalable framework.

I have many roles as an intern at the IoT lab. At the most basic level, my goal is to provide value to the lab and companies working in the space. Through this I am able to build my technical skills as well as network! My projects range from upgrading equipment to working with AWS and AI(more so machine learning than anything else)! Through my internship I am able to collaborate with some insanely bright and helpful individuals who provide guidance and wisdom of experience as I help them on their companies. If you can't tell I love this role and get to work with an amazing team. I am the youngest member of the lab team by about 5 years, so whenever I am working around them I am basically like a puppy to them with how energetic I can get. Unfortunately, my co-founder and I discovered that we had not done enough research and as we started to try to sell our product, we found that the market for custom podcast streaming on Amazon Alexa did not exist.
