I worked with Brad on the creation and launch of YellowAPI. We brought Mashery and YPG together to make it happen. This was a totally new concept at the time and Brad was instrumental in incubating and evangelizing the concept internally at YPG. Once the program launched, Brad was once again the evangelist. Only this time it was outside the company, bringing the YPG brand into new strategic partnerships that transformed them from a printed phone book company into a digital platform with an innovative content distribution strategy based on open API's. The adoption they experienced from day one under Brad and his team's business development efforts is a case study in success. Whenever we pursue large enterprises caught in the old way of thinking with disruptive ideas such as open API's, we need a champion inside the enterprise with the vision and determination to take on the challenge and carry the torch when we're not there. Brad is one of those guys.
