During my time at rock paper scissors, inc. I worked closely with the head account manager, researching, contacting, and maintaining communication with current and prospective clients. With these tasks, I also provided input for said clients and their profitability potential based on extensive research, intuition, and recognition of companies with distinctive components that differentiate them from others within a similar marketplace. Furthermore, I fully operated the company's CRM and was in charge of making sure that all aspects of the information contained there was up to date. Show less

As one of the few members of this start up company, I worked closely with local, student artists interested in the program in several ways; ranging from booking shows, to sitting in studio sessions and offering creative feedback. This mainly involved booking shows and tours across the midwest region, and tour promotion through social media and collegiate social culture. During my time at WME, I had the wonderful opportunity to shadow and work along side assistants in a variety of departments. This allowed me to supply venues with artist availabilities, review contracts between the agency and concert promoter, and create summary pages explaining the benefits of performing at foreign music festivals to a variety of artists across all genres. I had the ability to work alongside the booking agent for Asia, as well as the non-traditional live performance agents for the west coast and private/corporate events. Show less

During my brief, yet extremely insightful stint with CAA, I was able to get insight into how a top tier talent agency operates from the top down. I learned a lot about collaborating professionally across a variety of related networks within the same company, as well as about how a collaborative environment promotes success in the entertainment industry. My experience with the Dreslyn allowed me to apply my skill set to a variety of areas. Aside from working in the warehouse on shipping and inventory, I was also able to analyze the effectiveness of different marketing strategies as well as give input on ways I felt those strategies could be improved. • Senior Counselor
      • Jun 2014 - Aug 2014

While working at Camp Tamakwa, I assumed the responsibility of senior counselor for children ages 10-12. Within this role, I was responsible for the safety, health, scheduling, and maintenance of a cabin of around 12 children staying at the camp for 4-8 weeks. Additionally, I aided in sailing and canoeing activities, in which I supervised, lifeguarded, and instructed children ranging from 8-15 years of age in their activity, focusing on teaching correct form, technique, skill, and vernacular of each particular activity. Given the camp's seclusion on an island, these two activities take a prideful role within the camp, and members of the camp are often recognized as extremely skilled athletes of these two water sports, competing in race competitions around Algonquin National Park in Huntsville, Ontario. • Production Assistant
      • Jun 2012 - Aug 2012

Throughout my time at MadJack, I had the opportunity to take on professional responsibilities way beyond those similar of my age at the time. At the age of 16, I was in involved in the issuing of issuing petty cash, monitoring spending among the production department, set designing, talent scouting for future programs and much more. This experience truly had an impact across all areas of my own professional development and I continue to apply much of what I learn to my more recent professional experiences as well as my everyday life.
