In ADDITION to the payroll analyst roles, key responsibilities include:- Operate as a subject matter expert in the payroll analyst / payroll architect role based on core-discipline including system and product functionality, best practices regarding setup for implementations and ongoing client designs, and establishing best practices and efficient XLS coding- Assist in reviewing and creating XSL stylesheets for client's file reporting layouts for automated importation into the following HRIS systems: Ultipro, ADP, Ceridian, Lawson, Oracle, Peoplesoft, etc into SaaS platform(Benefitsolver) with an emphasis on payroll deduction reports- Bring a consultative approach to clients, a partnering approach internally and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate our delivery best practices and being able to solution client needs and mitigate risks effectively- Support defining, implementation and execution on payroll process improvements to drive greater efficiencies- Serve as additional point of escalation for operations for those on aligned projects- Help team navigate project challenges- Assist team in defining solutions for our clients that work within the parameters of our system while meeting client business rules- Perform audits both internally and for clients to determine impact when gaps are discovered- Perform data trend and root cause analysis that result in enhanced data processing and a decrease in data issues and errors- Support business through sales support and recruiting- Liaise with Product team to help develop future payroll product functionality- Aid in defining and testing enhancements to the software payroll module and creating testing documents with user stories to illustrate client requests and expectations- Mentor new team members, ensuring payroll best practices are taught and applied- Assist in training and development of broader team- Attend weekly leadership meetings to address payroll concerns during implementations Show less
