      During my tenure as faculty in the Radiologic Technology program, I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of courses including; Intro to Imaging, Principles of Digital Imaging, Radiographic Procedures II, Image Evaluation, Radiation Biology, Advanced Digital Imaging (Lab), and Radiography Seminar. I have taught in face-to-face, enhanced, and hybrid formats.I have utilized various learning management systems such as Blackboard, Elsevier Evolve, and Canvas. Technology can be an effective enhancement to a course to engage the learner, explain difficult concepts, promote collaboration, improve student learning outcomes, and capture real-time data as a classroom assessment technique. Technology I have incorporated into my coursework includes the use of an iPad, Personal Response Systems, Google Apps, and I even created a series of YouTube videos.In addition to didactic instruction, I have also served as a Clinical Coordinator working with over 40 Clinical Instructors from our 28 clinical partners in the Phoenix Metro Area. I coordinated the placement of the radiography students, evaluated student progress, assisted students in developing achievable goals, and resolved any issues or conflicts that arose during the clinical experience. As the Clinical Instructor, I was also responsible for the scheduling of clinical assignments and supervision of the Mayo and GateWay Radiography Program students assigned to Mayo Clinic Hospital.I served as mentor to coordinate the radiology portion of the Paradise Valley High School District Healthcare Careers Education Program, educating approximately 20-30 observation students a year.
