Serve as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for 2 networks. Lead for a cyber team consisting of 8 people. Responsible for managing members of the team, tracking funding for these individuals, and developing/implementing a career development plan for each one. Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization documentation, standard operating procedures, policies and security instructions for both networked and stand-alone computer systems and provide oversight and guidance for multiple systems.Responsible for supporting 2 separate networks accredited by AFC CCDC AcMC, including but not limited to:• Information security policy, procedures and regulations to assist with identifying potential information security issues.• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and audited in accordance with security policies and procedures. Cyber Security Engineer

Develop and test patches to fix vulnerabilities in Windows and RHEL. Install and configure Linux, Windows and Solaris from the OS up to the application level. Develop documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps to be delivered to the customer. Develop test plans/procedures for software integration and unit test. Work with software developers and/or vendors as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during system integration. Submit problem reports for errors found and coordinate daily integration activities with other team members. Build and administer servers for ACAS and HBSS. Use these tools to scan for vulnerabilities and enforce security policies on multiple networks.

Cyber Security Analyst

As a member of the Integrated Communications Engineering and Security (ICES) team I help to enforce IA policy, guidance, accreditation, and training requirements per MDA and US Army regulations for multiple systems. RMF accreditation requirements are fulfilled using the DOD tool EMASS tool. Security maintenance is accomplished using IA vulnerability scanning tools including: ACAS/NESSUS, and SCAP, to find vulnerabilities on multiple systems. I then implement the latest patches and DISA STIGS in order to mitigate vulnerabilities. Systems are then functionally tested in order to evaluate the effects of patching, and ensure the functionality of the systems is not broken, including interfacing with other ISs. All changes are then documented for reference. HBSS is used to assist in securing and monitoring the systems.

Provide analysis and support for the accreditation and certification of secure systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and/or processes for developmental and operational weapon system programs. This position requires the use of analytical tools, techniques, and processes for technical support activities. Works as a member of team, to manage and compile accreditation documents such as: Interim Authority to Operate, Authority to Test, Authority to Operate packages, and System Accreditation Packages for Individual systems, as well as test events, in order to meet DIACAP standards for the Directorate for Test.Also responsible for assisting in the administration of the shared Portal for the use of MDA Directorate for Test personnel. This includes the creation and modification of lists, libraries, templates, and complete site pages, using a SharePoint site platform, on both non classified and a classified systems.

Engineering Technician

Metrology responsibilities included proper handling and movement of live missile systems. Retrieving and recording mass properties (weight, length, circumference, longitudinal Center of Gravity, as well as radial center of gravity, and moments of inertia) of a large variety of highly technical weapon systems, using precision measuring tools and machinery, such as: scales, calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machine. These efforts required calibration and manipulation of scientific instrumentation, as well as the use of technical analysis components to evaluate and calculate precise determinations for use by engineering staff. This function often routinely required the employment of computer technology and an intimate understanding of the various forms of software utilized in this process.Disassembly/Assembly responsibilities included careful disassembly, modification, and re-assembly of various live missile systems, including: TOW, Hellfire, Javelin, Stinger, MLRS, 2.75 Rockets, Longbow, and Patriot, as well as the modification and integration of electrical and mechanical components of these systems. To do so requires the use of a wide range of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical tools, while following strict safety standards and approved Standard Operating Procedures.
