As the Revenue Manager for the Fitzgerald Group, the primary responsibility was the maximization of revenue per available room (RevPAR). As lodging inventory is highly perishable, the key skills utilized were occupancy forecasting, dynamic price modeling, data analysis, market segmentation, channel management, and business development. Lead for the acquisition, management, and training for technology assets. Highlights: •Developed Dynamic Pricing Strategy: Collated and analyzed historical sales and occupancy data between properties to serve as pricing baseline and leveraged that data to create a dynamic pricing scheme, significantly improving both occupancy rates and gross margins. •Revenue Growth: Grew revenue consecutively by 42%, 48%, and 26% in the 3 years after acquiring the Fitzgerald property, while growing daily rates in excess of 20% over the same period for this property. Grew online sales revenue for the established Dakota and Adelaide properties by over 15% per year and increased average daily rates by more than 7% per year. •Market Outperformance: Maintained overall occupancy rates at 85%, versus a citywide average of 79.5% during a broad and deep market contraction due to the global financial crisis.
