I am jointly responsible for the day-to-day operation of a union local with over 3000 precarious members and a membership base with rapid turnover. I serve as a key resource person for members seeking advise of their rights under the collective agreement or legislation. I solve many issues with the Employer informally and formally, and play the lead role in many complex grievances.I have also served as a lead negotiator in bargaining for a unit of roughly 2000 members.
