Global Fixed Income Product Manager
-
Aug 2014 - May 2021
Steering the product vision, planning, strategies, and projects for all fixed income classes, I work with customers around the world to create product solutions. I am also the product owner of all procured fixed income and derivative data and lead 3 engineering teams in user interface development for terminal, back-end infrastructure, and databases. Keeping a pulse on evolving market solutions, I work with regulators globally and industry working groups. I also consult with every major bank in the world on an ongoing basis to help them leverage and normalize data produced from TRACE and MiFID II. ► I drove the LIBOR transition for fixed income, opening the door for millions of dollars in new revenue and a rapidly-growing pipeline of bank prospects. Efforts included the development of a product that synthesizes fallback language into files for sale, as well as the expansion of terminal functionality. ► Yielding millions of dollars in new sales revenue to date, I managed the migration of all MiFID fixed income and derivatives data to the Bloomberg platform and the build of a new aggregated MiFID data product. ► I pioneered a now industry-standard analytic, GOVY, to analyze the relative value of government bonds against a model yield curve.

Jan 2011 - Aug 2014
Hired to lead transformation in derivatives trading in Rates, FX, and Developed Market Credit, I steered e-commerce trading for the Americas and later, globally. Overseeing a trading team and 55 sales personnel around the world, I managed the only registered swap dealer under Dodd-Frank for all products with U.S. persons. ► I directed a critical project that brought the bank into global compliance with new Dodd-Frank trading and sales requirements by the regulation deadline, collaborating internally and with regulators to establish processes and policies. ► To bolster the bank’s competitive advantage in sell-side business, I drove the engineering of the e-commerce trading system for North America and the formation of the sales strategy and distribution. ► Halting trading desk losses and fueling dramatic growth for North America, I doubled the budget in the first year, consistently surpassed annual goals, and increased trader retention.
