My strong management experience has prepared me to make an immediate and positive impact as a Store Manager. I am responsible for providing direct management of the store operations with 155 associates and 5 assistant managers while driving the operational excellence of the store operations through sales administration, personnel training, customer service, and profit & loss management. I play a pivotal role in consistently achieving sales and profit goals annually for a $45 million store. I am recognized for providing expert oversight to the Home Depot store in North Myrtle Beach, SC and the HD Store and convenience/gas station in Winchester, TN. I have successfully propelled first Home Depot store from consistent negative same-store comp sales to consistent same-store positive comp sales through hands-on sales management. I spearheaded strategic Team Depot projects to engage new store with the community through participation and involvement in community festivals and being selected for a local Chamber of Commerce board seat. I am honored with awards for the efficient supervision of a store with the highest sales versus plan and highest profit versus plan for two fiscal years out of 130 stores in the region. Recognized for outstanding team leadership style and work ethics that led to the selection of upper management to manage another store and address the leadership and moral issues, resulting in an improvement in the store's morale and sales performance. I have effectively developed and implemented action plans to resolve consistent merchandising and performance issues with another store, resulting in continuous career growth and experience. Moreover, I have boosted the store's financial performance through the successful implementation of sales techniques and the introduction of innovative approaches to enhance associates' performance and efficiency since moving to this store. My detail-oriented nature and critical thinking skills have been my biggest contribution to this team. I have displayed unsurpassed leadership in managing overall operations for an approximate $50 million business manufacturing HVAC systems for major tractor-trailer with 75 employees, 7 production lines, and shipping and material handling. I effectively directed strategic efforts and motivated employees to perform at high-efficiency levels, resulting in an increase in department production by 100%. I provided operational guidance and support to entry-level managers while improving the organizational structure and systems in line with the company’s business strategy and objectives to meet realistic human spans of control. I have successfully implemented a new production method within the company to meet higher production levels. I also served as a member of Bergstrom’s high potential leaders’ group. Show less
