All fun stuff: Pre and post-sales supporting mainly Web2.0 players. Duties include technical and soft presentations, network design, proof of concept demos and some post support as well. Really started with Foundry! remember that? Great experience and fun! At one point acquired by Brocade - new things! Provided pre and post-sales support in a Bay Area territory with a quota of several million dollars. Duties included technical presentations, answer customer technical questions. Planning and execution of customer demos. Post-sales support in the areas of design, implementation and configuration of sold equipment. Customer service advocate for all the customers in my territory. Support all Brocade IP products. Strong experience on routing and L4-7 Application Delivery Show less

What can I say? One of the best periods here. On the French Riviera, wonderful people, food, wine and surroundings and as a big plus continue to develop my French. I have to get back there! This company started as Wellfleet, who remembers that? and then names changed, such as Synoptics and Baynetworks.Phone support and field engineer doing whatever it took, as long as it was legal and decent, to support my customers in the area. Traveled all over Europe doing just that.
