Planning Intern
-
Apr 2016 - May 2016
Working at CSJ for my Agency Project meant adding valuable experience in the application process of planning. Writing numerous Design and Access Statements, applying for different types of planning permissions and working on conservation and heritage statements furthered my interest in design and the integration of planning into the world of architecture. This valuable and excellent placement has been really enjoyable and made me learn so much thanks to Mike Orr who gave me this opportunity. Attending real planning meetings and public consultations has helped improve my confidence in talking about planning and design.

Environmental Audit Internship
-
Aug 2014 - Sep 2014
I conducted an Environmental Audit on the Trinity Community Arts building as part of a one month internship. I worked with one other intern and produced a document to help improve the efficiency of the Trinity building a listed converted church. The document included quotes we secured for PV panels on the roof and lighting specialists, to help reduce the bills. Trinity found the document very useful and it in fact helped them to secure funding for the PV panels which are now installed.
