Bio
Alicia Reese
Shortly after receiving his PhD, Boyan was my professor for Real Analysis at UCLA. Because of his personable teaching, I thoroughly enjoyed what most call a difficult course. He not only made it fun and interesting, he challenged the students and piqued everyone's interest in the subject. He consistently explained concepts and theorems clearly and succinctly. He has a knack for teaching and did so more effectively than many seasoned professors. Overall it was a joy to be in his classroom.
