I chose the most challenging one, Votec Mobile, located in Voronezh, with a DAMPS license covering the Voronezh Region, an area of 52,400 square km with a population of 2.4 million people. The challenge was to lead the operator out of a local price war while increasing market share and profit levels and into evolution to new GSM network (given the need free the 800 MHz spectrum in Russia).
