      This role was highly advantageous in that the learning capabilities had been extensive during my time at Place Projects, from meetings with development companies both small and large, to onsite training in both real estate and marketing. I was able to gain knowledge and pick the brains of three highly regarded directors within the industry, whose experiences and knowledge transfer were of extreme value to myself. Daily tasks were inclusive of undertaking marketing related activities to support project sales, site sales and the investment sales team with key responsibilities surrounding creativity, quality and accurate advertising. The marketing related activities included EDM creation and monitoring the results, management of the company website including updates of content, social media platforms, media campaigns, event planning, liaising with external stakeholders, media monitoring and print media as required. Other tasks, as required, were to assist the administration with multiple duties.

      I started working at AVJennings on a part time basis lending support to the agent at one of the company’s large developments in the South of Brisbane, as the Sales Associate. This was my first role in real estate and I realised my love for the industry and the look of excitement when someone purchased their first home, extremely exciting to be part of that process! In my role, I reported to the Sales & Business Development Manager of QLD and was responsible to provide all general administrative work required for onsite, to introduce the company and the products available to clients and data entry. This position was short lived, as I was invited to join the team at head office to take on a challenging role that had become available. The Sales Support & Administrative role, with reporting to the State Manager, was diverse, fast paced and required the utmost attention to every detail. The principal accountabilities for this role were to prepare all sales contracts and coordinate duties associated with conveyancing for the QLD developments, to accurately and timely manage all sales information systems, liaise with both internal and external stakeholders with regards to contract executions, prepare all regulatory paperwork, provide assistance to the State Manager, to be part of the safety committee and to ensure all settlements ran smoothly and accurately.
