As the Head of Growth at Grasple, I am a driving force behind the company's mission to make math and statistics education accessible to all. Grasple offers an innovative online platform for educators to collaborate, create, find and share interactive math and stats exercises, ultimately leading to better engagement and outcomes for students globally. As founder of the award winning business 'Freerunning Zeeland' I manage a team of around 20 enthusiastic freerunning coaches, many of whom I've trained myself. We provide clinics, organise events and start new freerunning groups for sports clubs. Since inception, we have significantly increased the popularity of freerunning in Zeeland, given loads of clinics to hundreds of youngsters (e.g. through KIBEO's after school program), more than doubled the amount of freerunning groups in place, and introduced a yearly freerunning championship. KNGU pilot freerunning

In a pilot with the Dutch gymnastics union (KNGU) I founded and grew freerunning groups for two sports clubs from the ground up. This project involved mainly coaching, consultation, financial analysis and marketing, as well as acquisition and training of assistants and my replacement.(These activities became associated with Freerunning Zeeland at the inception of the business.)

Our focus is on evaluating plans for expanding reach and impact, reflecting on past operations and recruitment, and assessing the success and impact of previous funding. With my experience in growth and success evaluation, I aim to bring a valuable perspective to the committee and help ensure that the program's growth potential is thoroughly evaluated and realized to the best of our abilities. As a member of the MDT Youth Panel, I have the opportunity to advise the Dutch government on the Maatschappelijke DienstTijd, which receives an annual subsidy of 200 million euros. As a former member of the MDT Integration Group, I was fortunate to support the transition of MDT from the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport to the Ministry of Education. This group was established by OCW-SG Marjan Hammersma and MDT Director Jacqueline de Jager to ensure a sustainable integration of MDT into the education system.As part of a diverse team of 22 individuals with varied backgrounds, I contributed to policy proposals and helped shape the vision for MDT's future in education.

I founded and managed the AE Discord servers and WhatsApp group chats along with a team of administrators and moderators. These communication channels served as a hub for students to collaborate on homework, exam preparation, share aerospace news, and more. I started the freerunning division for Deltasport in 2013 and ran this division (nearly) autonomously. We grew to be the fourth largest freerunning group within the Dutch Gymnastics Union with more than ten coaches and interns and multiple weekly training sessions for 100+ students. We've also started a selection group that partakes in competitions successfully and often organise special summer activities, competitions, demos etc. (Most of these special activities became part of Freerunning Zeeland upon its inception.) I worked with the Jan louis de Jonge school board to incorporate freerunning into their playground as part of a major schoolyard overhaul. I assessed existing plans, proposed alterations as well as an alternative conceptual design and checked compliance with NEN norms. After the larger part of the budget for the schools playground was unfortunately revoked, the focus shifted to low cost alterations that would yield maximum freerunning-potential.

After finishing the first year of my AE BSc I took a gap year to pursue a unique opportunity to generate income by leveraging my skills in a specific niche of a video game I played. I was highly skilled at player-versus-player combat and made significant amounts of in-game currency through high-risk battles. In order to maximize my earnings, I employed various trading strategies on the in-game exchange to grow my wealth, such as buying low and selling high, investing in items with high demand, and predicting market trends. I then sold the in-game currency for real money through online marketplaces. In addition to making gold, I also invented and implemented two highly effective techniques for player-versus-player combat, one of which was widely adopted by the community.
