As a part of Aydin Boru End. A.Ş. in import part of my job,my responsibility is, after the ordering process completed, getting and checking the export and import documents, arranging shipment, getting in touch with the Suppliers or Customers, contacting with our Customs Broker, researching new regulations on HS Codes(Tariff Numbers), arranging the payment with our finance department if the Payment Term is completely or partially advance. After these steps completed perfectly, my responsibility turns into tracking the shipment and original documents day by day. By the way, at import part, after I got the original documents they will be given to Customs Broker to let him ready for Customs Clearance. The same steps are also being done for export part but only one thing is different. The difference is, giving him the export documents before the shipment. Hence the delivery deadline is very important for the company to satisfy our customers' needs, after the delivery arrived to Customs I get in touch with our warehouse and selling department to advise the exact time of arrival to let warehouse staff prepare for unloading and to let selling staff making their customers know about the time for collecting their orders. In export part of my job, my duty starts after our Export Sales Department finalize the Customers' Order and instruct us to start getting in touch with the customer for Customs Clearance and Shipment processes. At this stage, I talk with our Account Department to issue invoice firstly. After getting the invoice, Packing List is being prepared together with our Warehouse Staff. The next steps are checking and sending these documents to our Customs Broker to prepare Export Declaration and instructing him to issue Certificate of Origin to make our Customer avoiding any problem at Customs Clearance step. When the Certificate of Origin is ready, I send it with the English Shipment Docs to our Customer even by e-mail and courier. Show less

According to the demands of our local and international customers, my duty was searching the market for best freight rates and delivery schedules to satisfy their needs. Also issuance of B/L and presenting them our freight offer were part of my responsibilities. The reason behind quitting the job is Boss' decision on shrinking the business and hence I am the newest staff at company I had to leave from there.
