• Identified, cultivated and confirmed donors and event sponsors for the first Metro DC fundraiser that created awareness for the crucial issues effecting the preservation and conservation of African wildlife, specifically regarding the endangered elephant and rhino. Managed a portfolio of over 100 individual donors and exceeded fundraising goal. • Set priorities, organized a steering committee and ensured all deadlines were met. Maintained close contact with The Boards of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Big Life Foundation. Used all communication avenues including social media, and written and oral communication, to promote charity events and educate the public on the need to have stricter regulations on the sale of ivory and wildlife trafficking. • Spoke in front of the Presidential Task Force on Wildlife Trafficking in 2014. Noted lecturer on The Plight of the African Elephant in Washington, DC, South Florida and across the globe. Will continue as advocate for elephant preservation and other endangered species. Show less
