  JOB PURPOSE a)Carry out periodic equipment inspection. b)Carry out equipment maintenance. c)Make regular report on work done. d)Assist in inspection of equipment received or delivered. e)Understand and observe and apply staff rules and regulations. f)Keep tools and instruments used in maintenance work in good condition. g)Supervise KPC contract jobs such as tank cleaning and other miner works. h)Guide artisans and sub-ordinate staff working under him to see that they all strictly observe safe working conditions. i)Maintain good two-way communication between the PTM and staff under him. j)Any other duties assigned to him by PTM/STM/SEM or CME. TASKS a)Carry out planned maintenance of mechanical equipment as per the maintenance programme and make regular reports. b)Carry out break down service; log-in the repairs undertaken. c)Carry out supervision of KPC contracts such as tank cleaning and minor repair works. d)Perform standby /call out duties as directed. e)Ensure that tools and equipment used in maintenance work are in good working condition. f)Corruption eradication through enhancing transparency and accountability. g)Respond to emergency repairs of mechanical equipment and pipeline. h)Assist in arranging tools and spares for major overhauls.
