      I became a 1st Asm Sept 1st 2013. I have been with Safeway since March of 1995, I started at the bottom as a coutesy clerk. I worked my way up being a combo clerk, day perm, dairy clerk, night crew lead, frozen food manager, dairy manager, produce clerk, produce manager, person in charge, 2nd assistant store manager, and 1st assistant store manager. As a 1st ASM service was my #1 priority, I raised Osats from high 50's into the high 70's in one months time. My #2 priority was controlling Out of Stocks. I also did scheduling, ad planners, lobby planners, delt with vendors to build displays and control their oos.
