We have published five papers including two papers with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, a chapter in Financial Capability and Asset Holding in Later Life published by Oxford University Press, and developed a hard hitting documentary with WFYI Productions, the PBS affiliate in Indianapolis, titled FLEECED; Speaking Out Against Senior Financial Abuse. Fleeced received a regional Emmy award in June 2014 and has been shown on over 225 PBS stations, plus 200 screenings. Our healthy communities work focuses on connecting health care institutions to financial institutions and community-based partners. We are working with Public Health Institute in Oakland, CA, and partner with many other national and local healthy community networks including Building Healthy Places Network, NACEDA, LISC, and Christiana Health Care Center in Delaware. I was instrumental in preserving the Alliance and lead it through a transition process and developed new products for green buildings, flood mitigation, state healthy homes policy initiatives, and new legislative initiatives.
