      Provide Unit Maintenance New Equipment Training (UMNET) Instruction and training thru the use of an Interpreter to the Iraq Military on the Abrams Tank.Provide instruction to Iraq Military students on Abrams tank unit maintenance tasks for M1A1 SA Tanks as directed at OCONUS locations or where GDLS products are fielded. Provide input and support to program planning, schedules, lesson plans, and program of instructions and maintenance techniques for the development and execution of the assigned Abrams unit maintenance tasks.Prepare and present classes thru the use of an interpreter on unit maintenance task and requirements that encompass vehicle familiarization, safe operations, installation and removal of components, maintenance techniques, gunnery support and PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services) A solid understanding and knowledge of Abrams unit maintenance tasks, procedures and processes are required.Provide required support and input to maintain updated and current lesson plans, presentations and POI status to meet the contractual requirements.Interact and work with foreign national civilians and Iraqi Army soldiers; as a subject matter expert, coach and partner.Identify, advise and prepare necessary technical reports as required to support the Site Leadership and or Home office with solving technical problems and issues as required.Work as a viable team member on an autonomous site taking direction from USG civilian, military personnel and General Dynamics leadership in support of the assigned mission.Perform others duties as assigned by supervision/site leadership Show less
