Four years of general duty/uniform work followed by specialization and progressive investigative , supervisory/leadership roles in complex and serious crime investigations : drug enforcement , undercover, organized crime, outlaw motorcycle gang investigations, criminal intelligence and homicide undercover. During this time, I was also a member of Emergency Response Teams in B.C. and Alberta and spent two years on the national Special Emergency Response Team in Ottawa. (Canada's anti-terrorist team pre-JTFII ). Postings in interior and lower mainland B.C., Ottawa and Edmonton. As an undercover operative, I was a supervisor/leader within a pioneering team that envisioned, developed and honed what has come to be known as " Mr. Big " investigations. This technique is internationally recognized within the criminal justice systems around the world.
