Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States Hello, I have been around swimming pools my entire life. I joined the industry when I was 19 years old. Starting out as a lifeguard, at a community pool in Anne Arundel County. I enjoyed a summer of meeting a few new work friends, and we had a nice relaxing work environment. It reminded of just hanging out at the pool like when you were a kid. I enjoyed the experience and decided to do the same the next year. I was asked to be a manager at a different location. After that summer, I was asked if I would like to help winterize the pools with one of the areas supervisors. For a few weeks I rode shotgun and was an assistant. I was then asked if I would like to become a full time employee with the company. I’ve been with the same crew ever since. In all I have been serving pool and spa equipment professionally for 10 years. Everything from being your weekly service pool guy. To troubleshooting, maintaining, and servicing equipment. Sales, inventory, delivery, scheduling, and general customer service. Even complete equipment replacements and large project oversight. I believe that I have an out of the box approach to problem solving but am humble enough to know when to take others suggestions and apply them to whatever I’m trying to fix at that time. Although I have been in the industry for over a decade, I still have plenty to learn. And I am willing to do so. I come to work everyday, hoping to pick up some tips and tricks on how to improve further. Show less
