Successfully built a Boston trading operation from the ground up. Once again created a profit source for a highly successful Wall Street firm via cold calling and face to face meetings. Maintaining extensive database on prospects and active accounts. Maintained strong relationships with a very diversified client base. My clients consist of major banks, both US and international, global financial institutions, hedge funds, RIAs and Sovereign Wealth Funds. Kellogg Partners was recognized by Institutional Investors magazine for being among the top trade execution firms in their annual global rankings. Successfully arranged hundreds of introductions between public and pre-IPO companies and my vast institutional client base for both market exposure and capital raises. Kellogg Capital Markets was acquired by Knight Capital Group. Show less

My humble beginnings on Wall Street started in a cubicle pulling apart trade tickets. After a few weeks of this highly challenging task, my efforts were soon rewarded. I was given the task of eliminating the multi-year backlog of client account transfers to and from Merrill Lynch branch offices throughout New England. I quickly realized I needed to form relationships with other Wall Street firms if I was going to succeed in the newly created position. Within several months I had developed a network with the competition which allowed all parties to expedite the process. I was recognized numerous times for my excellence in turning a once black hole into one of the smoothest transfer departments in the company. I worked with other departments and firms to develop an automated customer account transfer system. I am proud to say the ACAT system, along with the transfer forms I helped develop, are still industry standard today. I was later promoted to Co-Supervisor of the Sales and Marketing department for the New England Region. I also had the pleasure to spend time training under Merrill Lynch's top producing broker, who was featured in Forbes magazine as America's Best Salesman. Merrill Lynch ended up relocating their Regional Operations Center to New York City. Show less
