From the first interview I was impressed by Bob's professionalism, depth of knowledge and real passion and thirst for all the jobs and projects that he was a part of. He brought extra value to the projects through insight, passion and dedication.

In 2009 I was commisioned by her Royal Majesty to lead the development of the website http://www.scotlandsplaces.gov.uk/. This was a large project involving the linking of major Historical providers such as the National Archives, National Library and the Scottish National Trust. The site was designed round Geo location of over 5 million records of historical data. This involved map creation, global information services, load balancing and centralisation of data which was required to keep data copyrighted and secure. It was a very prestigious project winning many awards and was also featured in National Geographic Magazine and various other world wide publications. Show less

Campbell and Co had the prestigiou honour of refurbishing Mcmanus Galleries. Scotlands 3rd largest Museum. They also had various other projects in the Museums and Heritage sector. I was brought in to develop the main website, touch screen interactives and integrating the system with the Networking team working on site. There were various other projects also including 3d modelling of an old cotton mill, musical interactive creation for the poem of Caerlaverock castle. I found the work fascinating giving me great insight into how historical organisations work and also developed my programming, hardware and design techniques. I love history and found the experience fantastic. Show less

I was then given the position of Network Technician when I finished my CCNP qualification. I helped in the reconstruction and upgrade of the Network and also in linking Fife College with Glenrothes college.
