Currently support TF-2010 in the Vendor Vetting process of companies contracted by DoD and NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in Afghanistan. Task Force 2010 vets non-US vendors to help identify and prevent insurgents, terrorists, militias, foreign intelligence services (FIS) and criminal organizations from using contracting proceeds to fund their operations and gain access to U.S. and Coalition Forces installations, equipment, facilities, and personnel. The following are examples of work I perform on a daily basis: compile target folders; conduct analysis of source reliability and veracity as reflected in intelligence reporting; populate and maintain SharePoint-type databases compatible with software applications specific to intelligence collection and analysis; perform all-source analysis and apply knowledge of foreign military/insurgent systems; determine findings and report those findings in the form of a Vendor Vetting Report on each vendor that includes a Force Protection risk assessment. These efforts are in support of the Congressionally-mandated mission within the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Section 841 Prohibition on Contracting with the enemy in the USCENTCOM Theater of Operations.
