Asylum Central was an online gaming community. My business partner and I set up Asylum originally with one game server. Over the next few months that one game server was full and we were opening many more. In late 2015, we had nine game servers. I used to be the manager of many of our servers and its staff, but we grew extensively. In late 2015, we had about 80 staff members. We had placed at least one staff member as manager of each server. The managers managed the daily activities of the server and its staff. The founders, my business partner and myself, managed the server systems, updates, the high-ranking staff, and the community as a whole. In addition to managing internal activities, I also gained a lot of experience with customer relations at Asylum Central. I dealt with customer concerns and suggestions in order to make the guests' experience even better on our servers. Show less

Games Attendant
-
Jun 2015 - Sep 2015
As a games attendant at Knott’s, I managed the game booth and the game itself, encouraged guests to play, and handled money. In addition to the game booth, I also worked in the stock room and arcade. While working in the stock room, I prepared merchandise and delivered it to various game booths for display. In the arcade, I worked with the computer system which controlled all the arcade games. I used this computer system to place nonfunctional games out of order, give guests a complimentary game if a game malfunctioned, and kept stock of what items were being bought with game points. In addition to these responsibilities, I also gained much experience with customer service at Knott's Berry Farm. They trained us to always be polite, encouraging, and eager to answer questions.
