Bo is without a doubt, the best supervising physician I have had in the 20+ years I practiced medicine as a Physician Assistant as he stayed up to date with the standard of care better than any physician I've known, was thorough/focused on each individual patient and had such a caring approach to patient care. He was readily available when I needed his input, which I always found to be valuable. I was so impressed with him, I married him. After nearly 13 years of marriage to Bo, I not only feel the same way, but feel more strongly about his excellence as a physician for all the reasons mentioned as well as seeing first hand hand how truly dedicated he is to all his patients. It's humbling to know how privileged he feels to be trusted with the care of each person and the acknowledgment of that honor is what keeps him focused on being the best he can be for the sake of his patients. His enthusiasm and expertise are obvious, leading to his many leadership roles. I recommend Bo Kopynec with absolutely no reservations.

I wear a lot of hats here. First and foremost, I am a practicing FP, who, with the help of a very capable staff and partner, is responsible for providing and coordinating the health care of several thousand individuals in and around the rural community of Ellerbe, NC. I also chair the governing board of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a 200+ provider multi-specialty practice. I am the lead physician for our current outpatient EHR, athenahealth's Clinicals, and I am one of the five physicians leading FirstHealth's upcoming implementation of Epic as an Epic Certified Physician Builder. Additionally, I have a second "practice" at the Perdue Wellness Center in Rockingham, NC, as one of two clinicians providing primary care and occupational medicine services to Perdue associates.
