I am an Engineer in the Tooling Department of Burndy LLC, a subsidiary of Hubbell Inc. I design and improve upon electro-hydraulic tools and steel dies used to crimp electrical connectors for use in Utility, Substation, and Transmission markets. So far I have gained experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Supervisor, Engineering Analyst, and Product Engineer. I worked in each of these positions for 9 months, with a focus in manufacturing improvements with LEAN implementation, designing cost-effective ETO electrical connectors, and developing lightweight versions of explosion proof enclosures for use in Harsh and Hazardous environments.
