It has been 5 years since I have known Burak Mert, as both, a close friend and colleague. I was first introduced to Burak when he joined Borusan Group, where he was working as an Internal Auditor in Borusan CAT Company. We worked with together in a lot of projects. He is one of the most disciplined and punctual person I've ever known. I appreciated Burak’s detail oriented and efficient working style with good command of technical knowledge regarding IFRS, accounting, and auditing. We worked together at Ernst & Young at the assurance department between 2011-2013. He took experienced assistant position Alarko Group’s audit process which I was leading the audit team as senior level.
