David Ashworth PhD

Brian isn't one of those folk who say "Do as I say!"; he says, "Do as I do!", and he lives by his principles. He shows a determination to help SMEs grow and is dedicated to working in an atmosphere of trust and collaboration. Earlier this year, he attended one of the Masterclasses that Flintloque runs with our colleagues at P&Q Consulting, on the implementation of the BS 11000: Collaborative Business Relationships Standard. As Brian works in ways that are naturally in tune with the guidance enshrined in the Standard, his contributions on the day were informative and memorable.

Currently working on research and development projects focusing on Smart Communities/Cities and Social Value for the Public and Private Sectors. Specialising in Information Governance and data sharing, we are working with Oxford University, Liverpool University, Liverpool John Moore's University and Lancaster University in the development of a COLLABORATIVE and TRANSPARENT platform for Data Augmentation, designed to save on costs, create interoperability between departments, a data lake for the internet of things which will provide value within the supply chain by opening up markets for SME's that would normally have been closed and a platform that will deliver lower carbon footprints across its network along with major Social Value Benefits. It is underpinned by a Provenance Framework and Business Process Layer. The system is designed around a new British Standard BS11000 and provides a solid legal framework to relevant regulatory standards including OJEU.
