Blake is one of the most passionate, positive, and detail-oriented educators I've had the pleasure of working with throughout my eight years in education. I've known Blake for the past four years as a fellow instructional coach and DEI coordinator, which means I've witnessed Blake's strengths firsthand. He uses consistent tools to measure growth and achievement, and leans into data to prove what his students and trainees are capable of. He truly believes all students and their teachers are capable of achieving the high bar he sets for them, and he articulates this belief authentically. I've seen Blake form strong bonds with stakeholders through his intentional planning and also through his natural curiosity and vulnerability. Blake strives to be a better educator and pushes others not to climb the ladder for personal or professional gain, but because it is what students deserve. I've watched in awe as students and teachers alike come to Blake, lacking confidence and skills they need to feel successful, only to leave feeling capable, strong, and proud. He brings out the best in others because he commits to supporting them and holding them accountable no matter what. Blake is a strong leader, a detail-oriented and data-focused planner, a compassionate educator and coach; he's a treasure and asset to any team lucky enough to have him on board!
